A sampling of my fashion illustrations; were done for clients in the United States and in Europe. Most are line drawings finished in Photoshop while others were watercolors or a combination of pen and ink with watercolor...some fashion figures are finished with the addition of Photoshop enhanced photos for backgrounds.
I began my career as a fashion illustrator in Los Angeles, California. There was an opening for a men's fashion illustrator at Bullocks department store. I had never done a men's fashion drawing, but I did need a job. So, I quickly drew some samples and became a fashion illustrator specializing in men's clothing. Good thing because I was new to California and pretty much out of money. After many years, I (and my family) moved to the east coast, where I freelanced for various department and specialty stores including Lord & Taylor, Bonwitt Teller, Elizabeth Arden, Dillards and Altman's. I did children's art for Lord & Taylor, and women's art for Altman's, Dillards, and more...Since then, all of my jobs have been free lance. My work includes directional brochures for Proctor & Gamble and Suave haircare (samples of both are included in the samples section).
